CalWest Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree and/or other educational requirements listed on the job description
- Requisite skills commensurate with the position
- A reasonable commuting distance to the CalWest client school, or a willingness to relocate
- Authorization to live and work in the United States
Client School Preferred Qualifications
- Possess the minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, a graduate degree.
- Minimum of 3 years previous Middle School teaching experience preferred.
- Possess a strong background in middle school integrated science curriculum.
- Loves teaching Science and also truly loves middle school-aged children.
Responsibilities
- Incorporate technology as a useful tool and use it when it makes sense to do so.
- Tailor instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom, providing additional support or enrichment activities as needed.
- Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to coordinate instruction, share resources, and address student needs effectively.
