CalWest Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree and/or other educational requirements listed on the job description
- Requisite skills commensurate with the position
- A reasonable commuting distance to the CalWest client school, or a willingness to relocate
- Authorization to live and work in the United States
Client School Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- An advanced degree and experience working with secondary school students is preferred.
- Experience in Independent Schools preferred.
- Enthusiasm for teaching and the ability to inspire a love for science in students.

Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Develop and maintain a positive, strong classroom culture.
- Create your own engaging and interactive learning environment, foster a passion for science, and ensure students acquire a solid foundation in biology concepts.
- Employ various teaching methods, including lectures, group activities, hands-on experiments, and multimedia resources, to engage students and enhance their understanding of biology.
- Oversee laboratory work, field trips, and extracurricular activities related to biology.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate cross-curricular concepts and promote a cohesive learning experience for students.
Salary Range
$ 60,000 – $ 80,000
