CalWest client school in the Greater Nevada area seeks an Assistant to the Head of School to begin July 1, 2025.
CalWest Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree and/or other educational requirements listed on the job description
- Requisite skills commensurate with the position
- A reasonable commuting distance to the CalWest client school, or a willingness to relocate
- Authorization to live and work in the United States
Client School Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of administrative experience, preferably in an educational or non-profit setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and database management.
- Organization & Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent relationship-building abilities and capacity to interact effectively with all school constituencies.
- Problem-Solving: Initiative and resourcefulness in managing multiple priorities and unforeseen challenges.
Responsibilities
- Familiarity with independent school culture and operations.
- Experience managing board relations and school governance materials.
- Project management experience is a plus.
Salary Range
$ 70,000 – $ 75,000
