CalWest Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree and/or other educational requirements listed on the job description
- Requisite skills commensurate with the position
- A reasonable commuting distance to the CalWest client school, or a willingness to relocate
- Authorization to live and work in the United States
Client School Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Mathematics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Valid teaching certification, preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching high school science, with a focus on honors-level courses.
- Strong background in curriculum development and instructional design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Teach subject areas: Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.
- Differentiated Instruction: Use student-centered strategies and provide individualized support to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assessment and Feedback: Implement varied assessments to monitor student progress and provide timely, meaningful feedback.
- Classroom Culture: Create an inclusive, respectful, and engaging classroom that supports student growth and reflects the values of our Orthodox Jewish community.
Salary Range
$65,000 – $100,000
