CalWest Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree and/or other educational requirements listed on the job description
- Requisite skills commensurate with the position
- A reasonable commuting distance to the CalWest client school, or a willingness to relocate
- Authorization to live and work in the United States
Client School Preferred Qualifications
- At least 3 years of school leadership experience
- Demonstrated passion for student wellness and success
- Strong collaborative and leadership skills
- A desire to be an engaged and visible member of the school community
- Respect for Jewish practices and tradition
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the General Studies faculty, curriculum, and instructional practices
- Implement and uphold best practices in SEL and classroom management, including Responsibility Centered Discipline, Positive Discipline, PBIS, Responsive Classrooms, and restorative circles
- Cultivate a collaborative, innovative, and reflective school culture among teachers, students, and families
- Support faculty in professional growth and instructional excellence
- Ensure students are well-prepared for high school, college, or seminary and beyond
- Foster a respectful and inclusive environment aligned with Jewish values, open to candidates of all religious backgrounds
Salary Range
$ 70,000 – $ 120,000
