CalWest Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree and/or other educational requirements listed on the job description
- Requisite skills commensurate with the position
- A reasonable commuting distance to the CalWest client school, or a willingness to relocate
- Authorization to live and work in the United States
Client School Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of teaching experience in grades 7-12
- A demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction and to design lessons which make use of a wide variety of learning methods is also very important
- Candidates should be comfortable designing and executing curriculum as part of a teaching team and embrace the use of instructional technology
Responsibilities
- Teach in at least one of the following disciplines: Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Precalculus and Calculus
- The position requires ongoing collaboration with teaching teams at the course and grade level
- Be an active participant in our vibrant learning community, we are looking for an educator who will inspire and support our students
