CalWest Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree and/or other educational requirements listed on the job description
- Requisite skills commensurate with the position
- A reasonable commuting distance to the CalWest client school, or a willingness to relocate
- Authorization to live and work in the United States
Client School Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership, or a related field preferred.
- Significant experience in curriculum development and instructional leadership within an independent school setting.
- Demonstrated success in leading professional development and mentoring educators.
- Familiarity with PreK-8 educational frameworks and best practices.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and its application to educational settings.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and periodic review of the school’s curriculum to ensure alignment with educational standards and the school’s mission.
- Collaborate with faculty to integrate innovative teaching methodologies and emerging educational technologies.
- Ensure vertical alignment of the curriculum across grade levels for seamless student progression.
- Plan and coordinate comprehensive professional development programs that address current educational trends and the specific needs of the faculty.
- Mentor and support teachers in implementing effective instructional strategies, differentiation techniques, and data-driven decision-making.
- Organize and lead workshops, seminars, and collaborative learning communities.
- Develop and manage a fair and constructive teacher evaluation process that promotes reflective practice and professional growth.
- Provide regular feedback, set actionable goals, and monitor progress to enhance instructional quality.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and lifelong learning among faculty members.
Salary Range
$ 80,000 – $ 100,000 (Nevada does not have state income tax)
