CalWest’s client school in Seattle, Washington seeks an Intermediate School Spanish Teacher and a Middle School Spanish Teacher to begin in August 2025 (or as soon as possible).
CalWest Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree and/or other educational requirements listed on the job description
- Requisite skills commensurate with the position
- A reasonable commuting distance to the CalWest client school, or a willingness to relocate
- Authorization to live and work in the United States
Client School Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Latin American studies, or related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Have experience implementing Spanish curriculum.
- Academic or professional experience in gifted education, creative problem-solving, and inquiry-based education is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing Spanish curriculum
- Plan and design daily instructional activities for all students
- Develop multiple tools to assess student learning on an ongoing basis.
- Advisor to mixed grade level students
- Participation in class outings and overnight trips
- Attendance at faculty and department/grade level meetings
- Filling-in with other duties as the schedule allows.
Salary Range
$65,000 – $124,000
