CalWest’s partner school in the Greater San Francisco area seeks an Innovation and Technology Teacher to start on August 19, 2025.
CalWest Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree and/or other educational requirements listed on the job description
- Requisite skills commensurate with the position
- A reasonable commuting distance to the CalWest client school, or a willingness to relocate
- Authorization to live and work in the United States
Client School Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in elementary teaching Innovation, and/or Design/Maker Space, and/or Technology
- An understanding of the academic, social, and emotional needs of elementary-age students
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to collaborate positively and effectively with students, parents, faculty, and staff
Responsibilities
- Embrace a dynamic and creative nature of working in a progressive learning environment and the ability to create curriculum related to the grade level content and student interest
- Design and innovation, problem solving and engineering, and the basics of coding, robotics, photography, and videography, while working on collaborative projects. Students develop skills such as building, electronic circuitry, robotics, and 3D printing.
Salary Range
$65,000 – $75,000
