Crestview Preparatory School is seeking a dynamic and passionate Fourth Grade Teacher – Reading/Social Studies to join our education team.

CalWest Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree and/or other educational requirements listed on the job description
- Requisite skills commensurate with the position
- A reasonable commuting distance to the CalWest client school, or a willingness to relocate
- Authorization to live and work in the United States
Client School Preferred Qualifications
- Have completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in education or related field based.
- Hold a multi-subject teaching credential.
- Have a minimum of 6 years teaching experience in an elementary setting
- Experience leading advisory is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with technology and digital platforms in the classroom
- Training in Responsive Classroom and Writer’s Workshop preferred.

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written documents. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and administrators. Communicates verbally with children, parents, administrators, and colleagues and maintains a sensitive, cooperative, respectful, and flexible demeanor in interactions with others.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals; create and interpret graphs; compute ratio and percent and use a calculator.
- Ability to use machines such as copiers, laminators, and telephones, and computers sufficient to perform all duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to solve practical problems and apply common sense in dealing with everyday and emergency situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and schedule form
Salary Range
$ 70,000 – $ 90,000
