CalWest’s client school in the Greater Los Angeles Area is seeking a Middle School Director to begin July 2023..

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and/or other educational requirements listed on the job description
  • Requisite skills commensurate with the position
  • A reasonable commuting distance to the CalWest client school, or a willingness to relocate
  • Relevant, recent experience
  • Authorization to live and work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of related experience with middle grades students, programs, and educators
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills;
  • Strong work ethic and high level of integrity;

  • Lead and guide the Middle School program, overseeing all curricular and co-curricular programming
  • Prepare and administer the Middle School annual operating budget
  • In partnership with the Head of School, hire, supervise, support, and evaluate all Middle School faculty
