CalWest’s client school in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Director of Outreach to begin July 1, 2023.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and/or other educational requirements listed on the job description
  • Requisite skills commensurate with the position
  • A reasonable commuting distance to the CalWest client school, or a willingness to relocate
  • Relevant, recent experience
  • Authorization to live and work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or more
  • Ability to write and communicate well
  • Familiarity with the private school admission process
  • Data management skills using various software platforms
  • Outgoing, energetic personality
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility in meeting multiple needs
  • Commitment and excitement for the school’s mission
  • Personal contemplative practice encouraged

  • Work with the head of school to develop a comprehensive strategy for outreach and family retention.
  • Oversee the entire process of attracting and enrolling new families: advertising budgets, social media presence, public relations opportunities, admission events, promotional materials, website development, application management, child visits and interviews, financial aid process, admission decisions, and welcoming new families.
  • Work with other staff to facilitate parent engagement with the school and its mission.
