CalWest’s partner school in the greater San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Director of Enrollment Management for a July 2022 start date.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and/or other educational requirements listed on the job description
  • Requisite skills commensurate with the position
  • A reasonable commuting distance to the CalWest client school, or a willingness to relocate
  • Relevant, recent experience
  • Authorization to live and work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a relevant field preferred.
  • Experience with SchoolAdmin Customer Relations Management system desirable.
  • Prior experience in assessing the capabilities of young children is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, listening and public speaking.
  • Natural networking instincts that make one adept at building and nurturing relationships with all types of constituent groups, including current and prospective families, education consultants, relocation agencies, feeder schools, local businesses, and others.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of School to develop long and short term recruitment and enrollment plans and strategies.
  • Oversee all admission events, including planning and executing all aspects of school visits, including individual tours, family and student visits, open houses, applicant screenings, and welcoming events.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in our efforts to attract and retain an increasingly diverse student body.
  • Partner with the Advancement Team to build and nurture a mission-aligned community in order to fill and fund the school.
  • Collaborate with counselors, learning specialists, and admission committee members to responsibly gather information needed for applicants with a history of learning differences.
